CONVERSATION IN WELSH WITH MY MOTHER ON THE BALCONY

CONVERSATION IN WELSH WITH MY MOTHER ON THE BALCONY.

There is always
seashells and
red geraniums
bird feeders
with nuts
full to the brim.
She would say
the daffodils are
almost in flower
and the mussel
boat is passing
the flag is at
half mast this morning
I wonder who's died
must remember to check the daily post.
Shoo!
that big bird away
the little birds
are starving to death
O those big birds
make such a mess
I must remember
to brush the mat today.
At last the sun
is coming through,
and look
the top of
Snowdon is
out of the clouds.

Avie.
