THE FISH IN THE
DOCTORS WAITING ROOM
Without realising it
I was being stared at
from the germ free aquarium
next to the
water cooler
and the stack of
Hollywood celeb
magazines
previously perused
by a thousand hands.
The fish with
bulging eyes
appeared genuinely
happy to be there
obliviously enjoying
a run of
good health by
showing off and
swimming through
a hole in the rock.
