THE BEACH
I was able to leave
the beach relatively unscathed
I didn't have to swim
with the fishes
or endure the
incessant insect bites.
I got away with not having to
embrace
public toilets or
carry a single
sand particle
in my shoes.
A fun day was
had by all.
